Why should I apply for this certificate?
COTA/KITA’s agroforestry curriculum (which is a part of the Higher National Diploma and Certificate programme) prepares students to answer specific professional agro-forestry questions set by the Trees for the Future (USA). When they pass these questions Trees for the Future issues them with an International Certificate in Agroforestry and this qualifies them to receive funding to pursue agroforestry programmes. Part of the requirement for this certificate is for participants to set up a community nursery and begin a community agroforestry project. Interested participants can also take this course as a Short Certificate Course.
