Why should I apply for this program?
The National Craftsman’s Certificate (NCC) is the highest vocational certificate in Ghana. Now managed by the Committee for Technical & Vocational Education & Training (COTVET) – the same body that conducts the Polytechnic Certification,- the rejuvenated NCC programme in General Agriculture has achieved standards similar to that of the HND programs held in the polytechnics. The NCC is a completely professional certificate and participants undertake various professional examinations to achieve the certificate. COTA/KITA offers interested candidates the opportunity to prepare and take the examinations. Participants first have to pass Certificate I, then Certificate II before they qualify to take the NCC exams. Others have to go through Proficiency Level, Cert 1, Cert 2, before they get the NCC certificate. KITA encourages all our students to also sit for these examinations and receive the certificates as an attestation to their highest professional vocational and technical knowledge in general Agric.
